Have you been waking up a bit earlier and getting your AM mojo on? I hope so. Because we’re moving on to PM Magic.

That’s right, your evenings are also a magical time – the next best moment to set yourself up for success. Just like that AM time, evenings are ideal for priming your mind-body-spirit to achieve the results you want.

Here’s how to start: Add one 3-minute ritual to your repertoire and make it the LAST thing you do before hitting the pillow.

The new ritual: Write down three things you’re grateful for from the day. You’ll want to give this activity its own small notebook. And, if you’re a notebook freak like me, you can even go out and get a special one just for this. You’ll also want to keep the notebook right by your bed so that you’re sure to make this a habit. Remember: NEW HABIT = NEW REALITY.

The more you express genuine gratitude for the gifts in your life, the more those gifts will multiply. This single simple act will also make you happier, healthier, and wealthier. Yes, wealthier. Sir John Templeton, the multibillionaire who started with nothing, called gratitude “the secret to wealth.”

So whatever it is–a smile from a stranger, knocking out your to-do list from that day, the walk you took with your dog–write it down!

There’s a lot of science behind the power of gratitude, and this won’t be the last you hear of it from me. But if you’re itching to learn more before then, watch this hysterical 12-minute video to see what Harvard professor Shawn Achor has to say about it.

And before you take another step into today, reply here with the 3 things you’re most thankful for from YESTERDAY.

Sending you loads of gratitude!
